Why hey there!

Today I have a haul that only has one, yes ONE, piece of makeup in it!
I have put myself on somewhat of a ban, I am only going to be buying the essentials, such as foundation etc. for a while because I need to use up what I have!

But the other day I went shopping with my friend, and I picked up some stuff and I thought I would share. I have also included a couple of books I bought a different time just cause they're cool.

(Most of the stuff I got is from Primark)

Primark

First up I have these gooorgeous pug pyjamas. I call them my pugjamas. They are so comfy and I want to see if Primark do any other designs in this style because they are perfect for lounging around in.

Next up, I got this glass jar in the shape of a skull!! I just really liked it, and my other glass jar is not skull shaped, nor does it have a straw.

I got some bobby pins because I literally had none left. These also come in a case, so I'm hoping this will make them less easy to lose? Either that or I'll lose the case and all 100 will be gone forever.

I got some plain black socks.

And I also got these wicked dinosaur socks because I thought they were really cool. Who doesn't want dinosaur socks?

I bought some of these hair bobbles, the plastic spiral ones? I heard they don't snag, and they are also really comfy when you are lying down!

I got these high rise leggings with a mesh detail at the bottom for when I am doing sporty things. I ordered some actua trainers the other day too, I haven't owned proper trainers since about year 10 when I discovered that I could wear Converse in PE...

I'm adoring the embroidery trend (have you seen my post on my new boots?) and when I saw this playsuit I fell in love! It was the last one left, in my size AND only £5 in the sale. Bargain or what?

The only piece of makeup! This lipstick is one of my all time faves, and I wanted a back up of it because I rarely see it in store. It's called Pink In Excess, if you're wondering.

H&M

I got a rather boring lint roller... you never know when you need one, especially when you have a dog!

I bought this dress, and I really like it but I don't know if I would wear it?? I ended up wearing the playsuit in the end, so I'm half tempted to return this...

Lush

I got my fvourite hair conditioner, American Cream. I love this, and refuse to wear any other conditioner haha. Who's ready for my Lush Valentine's post coming up soon??

Books

I got The Art of Happiness by HH Dalai Lama and Howard C. Cutler. I think this is just an important book to read. I'm starting to try and read more non-fiction as I think it's just as important as losing yourself in a fantasy world.

Equally as important, I got The Feminine Mystique by Betty Friedan. I've started reading this already, and it's amazing! Seriously, every woman should read this.

I hope you enjoyed my lil haul, and I will see you in my next post

Hello!!

So this year, I want to post more things that aren't makeup related. Obviously, I love love love makeup, but I want to post more of the other things in life that I love!
So to kick off this new part of my blog, I thought I would share with you my new absolutely gorgeous boots from Missguided.

Last year I bought myself my very first pair of Doc Martens, and it seems to be a tradition at the start of the new year where I buy myself a new pair of shoes: new year, not so new me. I have a shoe addiction, I know.
I saw these shoes on a video from Tasha Leelyn and I was in love!

They are this western style pair of ankle boots, with these embroidered roses, and they are also studded.
As soon as I saw these in her video, I knew instantly that I needed them (I didn't, but you get what I mean). And I also knew that they would go perfectly with my fringed jacket that I got from Forever 21 last March.

The front of the boots have 3 roses embroidered on them. I have seen a lot of these western style boots, but I thought the roses on these made them look a little more different, and we all know that embroidery is in right now, I just thought that this would be a subtle way to follow the trend, and these will still be wearable when the trend fades out.

The boots also have studs round the front, sides and back, and another rose embroidered on the sides.

They have a slight block heel, but nothing too high. The soles are like "proper" soles, do you get me? Haha, what I mean by that is they aren't rubber, which gives an even better "western" feel to the boots.

These fit really nicely. I tried some on in a similar style from Office before Christmas, but they pinched too much by the toes. There is a slight "pinch" at the front, but these are really comfy to wear and it's not too noticeable. The size is true to fit, I am a size 6 UK and they fit completely fine!

If you like the look of these, you can check them out here: https://www.missguided.co.uk/black-embroidered-western-ankle-boots

I plan to do more "fashion" posts, mainly look books or outfits of the week and things like that, as I really want to broaden my blog and post new things!

Thanks for reading!

Today I have some Christmas party outfit ideas! I have done 5 ideas from 5 stores, and I hope you like them. Just remember, that I created these to fit my style, so they might not suit everyone or your taste haha! But I tried!

Hey!

Today I have my July Haul! These are just the things I bought throughout the month of July, and I thought I would share them with you :)

Firstly, let's start with makeup!

Superdrug had a three for two, so I obviously took advantage. The first thing I got is this Makeup Revolution bronzer in the shade Kiss. This is really cool, it swivels out and comes with a sponge, which I probably won't use. The shade is just right for my skin tone, and it's quite buildable.

Next on the 3 for 2, I got this Sleek blush in the shade Life's A Peach. This shade is such a nice orange tone, and it lasts all day! I'm starting to get more into Sleek, I think their products are amazing for the price.

Finally on the 3 for 2, I repurchased the L'Oreal Infallible Sculpt Contour Base. This is the best foundation I have ever used. It's very liquidy, but this makes it easy to blend, and it's great for my dry skin. Any cream products I put ontop also blend really smoothly, so it does its job as a contouring base.

Next I got a few things from NYX. First is this Soft Matte Lip Cream in the colour Transylvania. I got this because I heard it was a dupe for Kourt K from the Kylie Lip Kits. It is kinda patchy, but it's buildable so it just takes a few swipes to get a full coverage.

Then i got this NYX Lingerie lipstick in the shade Teddy. This is my new go to shade! If I'm feeling something a bit darker than my Posh Spice, then I use this instead! The formula is really good, and not at all patchy, and it lasts quite long throughout the day too,

Then I got the Jumbo eye pencil in the colour Milk, because everyone and their mother raves about this, so I figured it was time I got it for myself.

I also got the Tame and Frame in Chocolate (Check out my post about it here).

The final thing I got from NYX was this Above and Beyond Full Coverage Concealer in the shade Porcelain. This is so good! It really covers up my dark circles after a particularly long night at work, and also covers up the scars left from my nose piercings.

Next up are some goodies from Lush (obviously)

Firstly I got a kitchen exclusive, the Avoshower Shower Jelly. This smells so nice, and I've never used a shower jelly before, so I'm quite intrigued as to how this will be.

I got two face mask samples, Mask of Magnaminty and Cup o'Coffee. I've never tried either of these before, but the Cup o'Coffee smells absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to try it out.

I got the Sea Salted Caramel soap. I got this because I've smelt it so many times in the shop, and I keep toying with the idea of buying it, and when I made this order I just thought "whatever" and added it to my basket. I now have a few Lush soaps that I need to use up, including Rockstar (my all time fave) and Outback Mate.

I also got the Dreamtime Bath Oil to try out, I'm actually going to put it in with the next item I got and make another "cocktail". I want to see if this actually helps to soothe me before I got to bed, as I have the temple balm of the same name and it does a pretty good job.

The final Lush item I bought is the French Kiss Bubble Bar. This smells absolutely divine, and I thing the lavender sprig poking out the top is a nice touch.

Kiko Milano had a sale on when I went in, and I picked up these nail varnishes all for £1! I gave the top left one to my mum though as I changed my mind about it.

Next up is some clothes I picked up.

I got this gorgeous skirt from New Look in the sale, I love swirling around in it like a mad man haha. I also got the pumps in this photo from H&M also in the sale.

The other sale thing I got was these shoes from New Look! These are £13!! What a bargain! I think they look like something you would get from Public Desire or Lamoda. They are so easy to walk in and I love them.

Finally, I got a couple of books.

I just finished this book. I really wanted to read it because I want to see the film but I much prefer to read the book first. I'm not gonna give you any spoilers, but I was completely gripped, and I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Lastly, I got this book about a lady who's dog saved her from her mental illness. Deep stuff but I think it's gonna be a good read!

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I bought this month, maybe I'll have given you some ideas of things to try yourself, I definitely recomment the NYX Tame and Frame and Me Before You.

Thanks for reading!
