Hello, and welcome to day seven of Blogmas! One whole week!

Today I am bringing you my cruelty free face makeup!

I hope you enjoy.

To cover my dark circles, I use Soap and Glory Kick Ass Fake Awake.

Then for foundation, I use Kat Von D Lock It Foundation in Light 45.

For concealer, I use a mixture of MUA Hide & Conceal and Nyx Above & Beyond Concealer Jar.

To cream contour, I use the Nyx Wonder Stick.

To set, I use the Makeup Revolution Pressed Powder in Translucent.

For bronzer I use the Makeup Revolution Bronzer Matte Light Shimmer.

I use the Milani Rose Powder Blush in Blossom Time Rose.

I use two highlighters, the MUA Undress Your Skin in Iridescent Gold and the MUA Luxe Glow Beam Highlighting Powder.

For my brows, I use the Nyx Tame and Fram Pomade in Chocolate and to set them I use the Sleek Clear Brow Perfector.

The mascara I am using at the moment is the Nyx Doll Eye Mascara in Long Lash.

My eye primer is this one by Milani .

And finally, to set all of this, I use the Makeup Revolution Pro Fixing Spray.

I hope this post has given you some ideas for cruelty free face makeup, to my knowledge at the time of posting this, all of the brands I have mentioned are cruelty free. I am now 100% cruelty free with all of my makeup, it's taken a while but I've done it!

Hey there!

Today I am going to share with you my top five favourite highlighters. I LOVE highlighting, and I will happily go out of my house looking like an orb and not care. All of these highlighters are drugstore, because hey, the way I get through highlighters, I'm not gonna pay £40 for it to last me a month haha! I will provide links to each one in case you are interested!

I hope you enjoy :)

First off is my number one, MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighter in Iridescent Gold. This is the highlighter that I use in my everyday kind of looks. It's only £3 and is very good for the price point! I literally glow when I wear this, and it's actually last me quite a long time (I was being sarcastic when I said highlighters only last me a month, in case you didn't pick that up). MUA in general, like Makeup Revolution, are an amazing affordable brand who actually produce good quality makeup.

My second favourite is Hemisphere from the Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette. At first, I thought that lilac wouldn't make a great shade on me, but I love it! If I'm going for a super pale look, I will use this, or if I want a bit more of an unusual look too. This whole palette in general is well worth picking up, but Hemisphere is my favourite of all of them.

Thirdly is Feeling Younger from Lush. I only have a sample of this, as I wanted to try it, and because you don't need that much at a time, the sample has lasted me aaaaages. This is a lovely cream highlight that stays on all day. It has slight pearl/peachy kind of glow? I'm not good at describing things when I can't quite make it out. But I have also tried this in with my foundation and it gave me a nice subtle glow. I have also read that you can use it to conceal under your eyes, so I'm definitely going to give that a go!

At number four, we have Stole The Show by Kygo. Just kidding, it's from Colourpop. This feels so nice when you swatch it, it's incredibly creamy and just glides on so well. It is a gold, but also has small flecks of pink in there too, which you can see when you turn it in the sunlight. It lasts all day, and if I'm feeling a bit of an extra glow, I will put this on first, and then the MUA highlighter on top. Perfect.

Finally, my number 5 isn't technically a highlighter, it's an eye shadow. And it costs something daft like £1.99. But it works so well as a highlighter!! It's called Candy Floss, and it's from Natural Collection in Boots. It's a lovely pink shade, which obviously is more pigmented when swatched. But on my highlighting brush, it is so subtle when applied to the cheeks etc, and it is stunning. And I'm all for multi purpose makeup, because it does make an awesome eyeshadow too!

Hello!

Today I was very excited to play around with a recent purchase of mine, the Urban Decay Moondust shadow in Solstice. This shade is everything you could want and more. Yesterday, I wore it with a more reddy-browny shade and it came through reddish with teal glitter, but today I really experimented and popped it ontop of black shadow, and the result is to die for. So keep reading if you want to find out more!

As per usual, I primed and set my eyelids.

Then I went in with  Depravity from the Makeup Revolution Salvation palette. Now this colour is not heavily pigmented at all and it took a lot of building and blending to get this look how I wanted, so I'd suggest finding a different purple eyeshadow for this.

I then blended a Kiko Infinity shadow in the shade 291, which is a light grey colour just  to darken the purple a little more before going in with the black.

Now the messy bit. I packed on Crave from the Naked Basics palette, and while it does look messy here...

... you can soon blend it out and add more colour if needed. The key to this look is to keep blending and blending and blending.

Taking a wet, flat brush, I took some of the Solstice shade and packed this on top of the black, and then blended it towards my crease with a crease brush.

Then I went in with my trusty eyeliner, and did my face makeup.

On the lower lashline, I put a black kohl in my water line, and then ran Crave along the lash line. After, I lightly pressed some more of Solstice to create a subtle glitter on the bottom.

For lips, I used a mix of MUA's lip liner in Brooding Plum, Collection Gothic Glam in Revenge and Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Melted Velvet. At first I just applied them, but after I dabbed my lips on a tissue which created a perfect matte.

And that's it!

Hello, and welcome to 2016! It's been a while but I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and New Year!
Last night I went to a party, and I thought I would share the makeup look. It seems rushed at the end but unfortunately my camera battery died at the end of me doing this (boo). But it gave me chance to test out my new 50mm lens (thanks Mum!).

Firstly I primed as always with my MUA concealer in Fair and set this with a mix of Foxy and Walk of Shame from the Naked Basics palette.

Then I went in with Substitute For Love from the Zoeva Cocoa Blends palette and just put this in my crease. (Excuse my awful brows)

I then put Infusion from the same palette on my lid for no apparent reason, I just love the colour.

Then I added Freshly Toasted to my crease just to deepen it a tad more.

Now for my favourite part (and colour), the purple! I used my Kiko Colour Sphere in the number 41, and applied it with a wet, flat brush to pack the colour on. I feel that this didn't work as well as when I used my other Colour Sphere which is the colour 16, a beautiful metallic gold, although this may have been because of the darker shad i had on underneath. I also added Sweeter End from the Cocoa Blends palette in my inner corner, but later blended it out.

To darken, I put Crave from the Naked Basics palette in my outer corner and lightly into my crease.

Then I did my face makeup and added eyeliner. (what an awful photo oops)

This is where my camera was dying, so I will just explain what I did. I used my Collection Fast Stroke eyeliner for my wing and my MUA eyeliner pencil in Jet for my lower lash line. Then I used the Kiko Star Volume Mascara and added my Ardell Wispies (using my new favourite lash glue from duo, seriously my lashes stick on through anything with this). I then used a brown matte lipstain that I got from EBay (although in the first picture I have Mulberry by Collection on but then I changed my mind) and voila!
