Hello!

Welcome to my first makeup post of 2017! If you read my last post (check it out here) you will know that I haven't actually worn that much makeup so far this year haha! I actually did this look a couple of weeks back now, but I have been so busy with uni work that I just haven't been able to sit down and write the post until now!

First of all, I took Love Letter from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette and put it in my crease. I feel like this was such a bold colour to start with, but go big or go home!

Then I deepened this with a mix of Romance and Hold Me Tight from the Sleek Goodnight Sweetheart palette.

From the same Sleek palette, I used Love Is In The Air all over my lid.

I then used my Soap and Glory Supercat Eyeliner to make a wing.

I smudged some more of the combo of 2 Sleek colours on my lower lash line.

And on my lips, I used Charmed by NYX.

This is where I noticed one of my eyebrows looked a bit dodgy and tried to fix it... On my inner corner, I just used the highlight shade I wore that day. (I think it was the lilac shade from the Sleek Solstice Palette)

And there we have it! I think this is super easy, but also dramatic enough to make a bit of an impact! I hope you enjoyed this, and I'll see you in the next one <3

Hello hello hello!
Welcome to day 20!!! Only 5 days until Christmas, and I am totally in the party mood, so I came up with this look! I literally didn't even go to a party though, I just went to the pub with my friends and i felt so extra but I LOVED it. And I've been doing pretty simple makeup the past few days so I wanted to do something a lil bit more.

Firstly, I took Buon Fresco from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette and put it in my crease.

Then I took Red Ochre (which I've been dying to use) and put it in my crease line and blended it up.

I took a pencil brush and put Love Letter through my crease. Even though some got on my lid, it's okay because...

I cleaned it up with the Nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk. I used this to give a nice light base to the lid shades.

I took Pretty In Paris from the Sleek Vintage Romance palette on my finger and put it in the inner half of my eyelid.

Then I took the Nyx Hot Singles in Hot Red and buffed it into my outer corner. This came out a lot pinker than I thought it would, I think this was because of the white underneath, I intended it to be a bit redder haha, but I liked it! I then blended it out a bit more than in this photo, and also blended the crease in until I was happy with it,

I put some black liner in my waterline. Then I took Red Ochre and drew it under my lower lash line and then sort of flicked it out and down my inner corner. You can see in the picture haha, I'm so bad at explaining, and it was literally a split second decision haha.

Then I took the Nyx Face and Body Glitter in Ice and filled in the gap between my lashes and the red line, you can't see it so well here :(

I then used Charmed from the Nyx Velvet Matte range on my lips to continue with the red/berry theme.

Also, I got this top from H&M and I love it so much!! It's given me some serious 90s vibes haha.

Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoyed this look. I will see you tomorrow!

Hello! Today I have a really simple look that was inspired by snowflakes! I can't stress how easy this looks is, it literally uses like 4 shadows and a bit of glitter and that's it!
So if you're wanting another festive look, keep on reading!

First I put Pretty In Paris from the Sleek Vintage Romance Palette in my crease and up my brow bone.

Over this and slightly down my lid, I used Snowflake by Essence. (Conveniently named haha).

All over my lid I put Sugar by ColourPop. With their shimmery shadows, I find it best to apply them with a finger, I think they're so hard to work with when using a brush.

To deepen up the crease a bit, I took Tease Me from the Makeup Revolution Death By Chocolate Palette, and just kept blending that with Sugar.

I put the same Tease Me shade very very lightly under my eye, just to give a tiny bit of definition, without harshly smoking the look out.

This bit I'm really annoyed about, these were the best photos I could get of the glitter, I TRIED haha. I put the Nyx Face and Body Glitter in Ice in my inner corner, bringing it down just a tad at an angle away from my nose.

And on my lips I used Marshmallow by ColourPop.

And there we have the finished look!

I hope you liked this, and I'll see you tomorrow for Day 8!

(Some of these palettes I own and so would definitely recommend, and some are just ones that I am personally interested in and seem popular at the moment)
