Hello!

So yesterday I wrote about the Death By Chocolate Palette by Makeup Revolution, and I said that today I would be doing a tutorial, so here it is! I really enjoyed using this palette as all of the colours are absolutely beautiful. I hope you like what I came up with :)

First of all I primed as always, and then went in with both the shades Lick Me and Break Me Up mixed together in my crease. (excuse my eyebrows, I royally messed them up)

Then I used Devour me as a base all across my lid and blended it into the crease colours.

On top of this, I put my favourite shade of the whole palette, Don't Let Go.

In the outer corner, I put Consume Me just to deepen it a little as I decided I wasn't going to wear eyeliner today (shocking, I know).

After that, I did my face makeup and then ran a mix of Devour Me and Don't Let Go on my lower lash line before applying mascara.

Et voila!

Hello all!

Today's post is something a little different as it is split into two parts. This post is a general mini review about my new Death By Chocolate Palette (thank you Juliette!) just showing the different shades and picking out my favourites, and tomorrow I will be posting a look that I have created using the palette.

This palette (and all the other Makeup Revolution palettes) have been raved about as dupes to the Two Faced Chocolate Palette, and I've been eager to try one for a while, and I have not been disappointed with the quality, and chocolatey smell, of this palette.

The palette has 16 shades, all of which are gorgeous colours. Along the top row, there are 5 colours.

(I swear White Light is there, it's just so pale!)

White light is probably the creamiest of all the shades and it feels so nice to dip into! But by far the prettiest shade of the entire palette is Don't Let Go. I actually think I'm in love.

Next are 6 colours on the second row.

Love You To Death was the colour that I first loved the look of when I opened the palette. However, Devour Me was a tad crumbly upon swatching, but I'll have to see how it is when I use it with a brush.

Then the third and final row has 5 shades again.

Tease Me is an absolutely gorgeous shade, I am very excited to play around with the metallics in this palette. Bring Down The Angels is going to make the perfect shade for the inner corner as well.

Hello and welcome!
So I know I'm rather late to the bandwaggon, but its taken me a while to think about what I really want to achieve this year. This year is going to be one of the biggest of my life so far, as I'm not only turning 20, but I'm also (hopefully) going to be starting university in September doing a subject I love, something which just two years go I never thought would be possible.
2015 was a strange year for me. I faced many personal challenges but I overcame them, and I plan to carry on in 2016 being stronger and better than ever. So without further ado, here are my 2016 goals.

• Exercise more
• Drink less alcohol
• Eat less rubbish
• Work on my butt
• Look after my skin
• Take more photos
• Go on more trips/adventures
• Try yoga
• Take more baths
• Get more tattoos
• Remember to take my tablets
• Blog more
• Do more things for myself
• Meditate more regularly
• Smile!
• And maybe possibly stop wearing so much black. Maybe.

I plan to regularly update on these things as the year progresses and see where it takes me

Hello, and welcome to 2016! It's been a while but I hope you all had an amazing Christmas and New Year!
Last night I went to a party, and I thought I would share the makeup look. It seems rushed at the end but unfortunately my camera battery died at the end of me doing this (boo). But it gave me chance to test out my new 50mm lens (thanks Mum!).
Hope you enjoy :)

Firstly I primed as always with my MUA concealer in Fair and set this with a mix of Foxy and Walk of Shame from the Naked Basics palette.

Then I went in with Substitute For Love from the Zoeva Cocoa Blends palette and just put this in my crease. (Excuse my awful brows)

I then put Infusion from the same palette on my lid for no apparent reason, I just love the colour.

Then I added Freshly Toasted to my crease just to deepen it a tad more.

Now for my favourite part (and colour), the purple! I used my Kiko Colour Sphere in the number 41, and applied it with a wet, flat brush to pack the colour on. I feel that this didn't work as well as when I used my other Colour Sphere which is the colour 16, a beautiful metallic gold, although this may have been because of the darker shad i had on underneath. I also added Sweeter End from the Cocoa Blends palette in my inner corner, but later blended it out.

To darken, I put Crave from the Naked Basics palette in my outer corner and lightly into my crease.

Then I did my face makeup and added eyeliner. (what an awful photo oops)

This is where my camera was dying, so I will just explain what I did. I used my Collection Fast Stroke eyeliner for my wing and my MUA eyeliner pencil in Jet for my lower lash line. Then I used the Kiko Star Volume Mascara and added my Ardell Wispies (using my new favourite lash glue from duo, seriously my lashes stick on through anything with this). I then used a brown matte lipstain that I got from EBay (although in the first picture I have Mulberry by Collection on but then I changed my mind) and voila!

Just some random, unedited photos of mine.

I've heard about Zoeva for a while, and I've been eager to try out a palette for a long time, so when I was on Beauty Bay the other day Christmas shopping, I couldn't help but treat myself.

First of all, can we just take a moment to appreciate the packaging? It's absolutely gorgeous. The palette comes in a cardboard sleeve, and both are brown with gold detailing.

When you open the palette, you are greeted by ten gorgeous shades, all of which are highly pigmented. The only fault I have with this is there isn't a mirror, but that's not a major issue.

There is a mix of four matte shades and six shimmer. 

Bitter Start is a matte cream colour, perfects for days when you don't want a shimmer highlight. Sweeter End reminds me of a subtle version of Sin for the Naked palette. Pure Ganache is a golden colour, and I think mixed with Substitute For Love which is more orangey, it will make a perfect holiday look. While I would class Substitute For Love as a matte shade, it does have subtle flecks of gold glitter in it.

Warm Notes, a gorgeous cranberry shade, and Infusion, a gold glittery brown shade, are my two favourite colours from this palette. Subtle Blend is the perfect bronze shade, while Freshly Toasted is a nice reddy-brown, a shade which I think is quite unusual.

Finally, we have Beans Are White, a brown almost black shade, that appears to have a purple sheen to it, which is so unusual. And Delicate Acidity is a perfect shimmer purple shade.

Overall, I am thoroughly impressed with this palette, and I can't wait to create many looks with it. The shades are all highly pigmented, and at £15.50, I don't think it is a bad price at all for the product you get, and it would make the perfect gift for any makeup lover at this time of the year.
