Hello!

Today I have this look that I came up with yesterday, so I decided that I would recreate it and share it. I used sellotape with this to create a sharp line, something that I've never tried before, but I don't think that this second attempt is too bad! I hope you enjoy :)

For my transition shade,I used Substitute For Love from the Zoeva Cocoa Blends Palette (this entire look is using this) and ran it through my crease, bringing it up slightly as it reaches the tape.

Next I deepened this with Freshly Toasted to make the colours look a bit warmer.

Then I applied Beans Are White to the outer corner, focusing on making the colour deeper along the tape line. Make sure that the colour blends softly into the center of the eye.

I then put Pure Ganache across the rest of my lid, blending it with Beans Are White.

While the tape was still on, I did my eyeliner so I could follow the line better.

After applying my face makeup, I ran a mix of Substiture For Love and Beans Are White along my lower lash line.

Then a applied mascara and my Ardell Demi Wispies and there ya are! (Excuse my wonky eyebrows, I FINALLY got them done and the woman messed them up. Yay)

On my lips, I used my new favourite lip crayon from Primark. It's their PS Velvet Matte Lipstick Crayon but it doesn't have a name I don't think, just the number 11? I seriously think this beats Birthday Suit by Sleek as my go to lip colour.

Hello!

So just before Christmas, Kiko Milano opened a store in my local shopping center and I could not have been more excited. I had spent a long time on the web before almost drooling over some of the items and, of course, I did a little shopping and treated myself to an early Christmas present. But I recently decided to go in again and pick a few things up as I was really impressed with the items I got before, so I thought I would share what I got and my initial opinions.

First of all I picked up this Infinity eyeshadow in the number 277.

I bought 2 of these before and I was impressed with not only the pigmentation, but also the amount of glitter in the shadows! I really like this colour too, as I'm starting to experiment more with eyeshadow and I've wanted a blue for a while.

Then I got a Cream Crush Eyeshadow in the number 04. I thought this would be a great base shade. I have used it already (I have a look using this coming up soon) and it reminds me of the Maybelline 24 Hour Colour Tattoo eyeshadows in how it applies quite thickly and dries quick. 

The next item is one that I have wanted for a while, and I just decided to get it because it's so pretty! It's the Water Eyeshadow in the number 213.

These you can use wet or dry, but I think this is such a pretty shade! I've heard that some of these in the more golden/silver shades can be great highlighters, so I'm going to have to give that a go soon. The pigmentation is great when dry, but the colour shows up a lot deeper when applied wet.

And can we appreciate how pretty the eyeshadow design is??

Next I got a lipstick, (a "small" obsession of mine), in the Unlimited Stylo in number 014. 

This is quite a pale lipstick, but very much unlike what I already own ad I usually go for darker shades. But it's always good to have a range. This also has tiny flecks of glitter in which I noticed when I swatched the colour, but it doesn't show up so much when wearing it. The formula is quite creamy and it seemed to turn more matte the longer I wore it, which is a bonus as I love matte shades.

And finally, the next two items were an impulse buy at the till. Aren't I a sucker? But I instantly fell in love with the shade and design of these, and they are part of the Best Friends Forever collection.

These are the Endless Love Lipstick and Lipliner in Soft Marsala 05. I never but matching lipliners and lipsticks so I felt rather organised doing so with these. But the design of the lipstick is what drew me to it the most...

How adorable is this?? Both the lipstick and liner apply smoothly and I can't wait to try them out.

Hello!

Recently, I've been seeing a lot of posts and videos about the My Scheming Blackhead Removal so, obviously, I wanted to give it a try. It cost me £7.59 from Ebay and took about 2/3 weeks to arrive (despite claiming to be a UK seller??)

The box comes with 3 steps. The first step opens your pores, the second is the carbon mask, and the third step soothes your pores after having all the nasties ripped out.

I applied step one, which is just a clear liquid, to the areas where I have pores and left it on for ten minutes.

Then I removed it with water and didn't dry my face so I could apply step 2 to my wet face.

This is where you end up looking completely ridiculous.

I waited 45 minutes for the entire mask to dry because I wanted to get the best results.

I noticed that there was little bumps in the mask so I assumed that was where it was dragging out all the nasty bits.

But when I removed the mask, peeling from the bottom up, barely anything came out and I was so disappointed!

I'm not sure if I did anything wrong (if I have, someone please tell me so I can do it right next time!)

But the mask also really hurt my face when I peeled it off, and left the areas around my nose really red and it stung for a long time.

I put step 3 over the areas, and this morning those areas are not dry at all! This is a big thing for me because I have incredibly dry skin. But the area around my nose is still a bit sore so I think I'm going to put some aloe vera over it and hopefully soothe it.

I am going to try this again soon, just to give it another try especially if I did something wrong.

Hello!

This year, I don't have a valentine's but I have something much more exciting planned anyway! (more to come on that). But I figured that I would contribute to commercialised love and come up with a soft pink makeup look, ideal for valentines day. If, like myself, you don't have a date, then just rock it anyway, who needs relationships? ;D Enjoy!

First I primed as usual, and took Lick Me from the Makeup Revolution Death By Chocolate palette and put it through my crease.

Then I took Sin from the Naked palette and packed it along the inner two thirds of my eye. You want to keep it quite subtle at the moment though.

Then I put Sidecar from the same palette in the middle of my lid, blending it into the first two colours.

I then deepened with Buck on my outer corner and then blended it all out together.

Then I added eyeliner (the flick is huge but I've started to grow quite fond of this style at the moment).

Then I blended Sidecar and Buck along my bottom lid.

I then did my mascara. I would normally add fake lashes but my eye is itchy at the moment and I didn't want to irritate it anymore. I also did my brows.

And there it is. A soft pink makeup look perfect for any occasion.
