Hey there and Happy Halloween weekend! Today I have a look that was inspired by pumpkins! I love pumpkin carving and I'm going to be carving on this weekend and I'm super excited!!
As expected, this is an orange look, and I used my new Milani eyeshadow, which I love! I'm definitely going to buy some more at some point.
I hope you enjoy this and that you're feeling super spooky this weekend!

First of all I used Peach Smoothie from Makeup Geek as my transition colour because it's such a light shade.

Then I used Substitute For Love from the Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette just a little bit below this to add some depth.

To brighten the orange tones, I put LOL by NYX all through the crease.

On my lid I put Bella Mandarin all over and blended it up into the LOL shade.

With a thick pencil brush I used Faint from the Naked Basics palette.

On the outer corner, up along the tape so it creates a sharp line, I blended in Beans Are White.

I did a really long wing because as you shall see...

I put 4 round face glitters from PS from Primark. You can always do this with eyeliner to create little dots, but I had these so I decided I'd use them!

I then blended Faint along my lower lashline.

And there we are!

On my lips I used one of the new NYX Liquid Suede's in Alien, it's a gorgeous black, I love it! (we all know I love them anyway haha)

I hope you enjoyed this post, and that it's got you in the mood for Halloween! This is obviously a more wearable look, but I will be doing a few looks over the weekend, one of them being my look for my costume, so keep an eye out!

Hello!

Today I am finally bringing you my Lush Halloween Haul! I bought all of these the day they came out, but I have been so so busy with uni and work that I just haven't had chance to post this.

I got everything in the range, and the background I used for this post is the Moon Phases Knot Wrap, which is a Halloween knot wrap!

I'm sure you've all seen these by now, but I thought I would share anyway haha.

First up is the Lord of Misrule Shower Cream. This has black pepper corn and patchouli oil in it and has such a rich smell that is just perfect for Autumn.

Next up is the Pumpkin Bath Bomb. I have already used this, I mixed it with The Magic of Christmas Bubble Bar and I loved it!! I strongly recommend that bath cocktail.

The other pumpkin design is the Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar. This has grapefruit, lime and juniper berry in it and smells absolutely amazing Not to mention, I love all that glitter on it!

This cutie is the Boo Bath Melt. He smells like ginger which is unusual but he's packed with cocoa butter which is really good for softening the skin.

I cannot wait to try this Autumn Leaf Bath Bomb because the colours look awesome! It also shares its scent with the grass shower gel, and I also think it might go nicely with the Green Bubbleroon (if you can find any left, that is).

This is Monster's Ball, and it smells beautiful! His eye is also made of cocoa butter so he's really good for the skin too.

Next up is me as a soap. Haha. This is the Fireside Soap, which has clove bud and  vanilla inside of it, as well as chestnut flour. It really does remind me of being around a fire.

The other soap in the Halloween launch is the Magic Wand Soap. It has charcoal around the outside which is a natural absorbent, but also smells really citrusy and refreshing.

This is also me. Goth Fairy Shimmer Bar. I absolutely love this. it has gold, green, purple and silver lustre, and moisturises at the same time as giving you a glittery glow!

Finally is the Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb. This is being kept on until Christmas which I'm excited about because I definitely want to get more than one! It has the same scent as the Shower Cream, but it also has popping candy inside! It also turns the water into a really creepy blood red.

Let me know if you've picked any of these up, and keep your eyes peeled for a Lush Christmas Haul coming soon!

Hello!

Today I have a post on the Milani Eyeshadow Primer. I've never used Milani before, but I've seen some good reviews on this, so I decided to order it with a few other things, and I am impressed!

The primer comes in a tube which has a little nozzle on the end which the product comes out of.

The primer itself looks like a blob of concealer, but spreads out to a more clear colour.

For this post, I am going to swatch my favourite palette, Zoeva Cocoa Blend.

On the left is without primer and on the right is with.

On the top is without primer and on the bottom is with.

I think this primer works so so well! The shimmer colours in the palette came out in such a rich colour, and the metallic shine somehow shone even more. And it also brought out the duochrome in the shade Sweeter End. As for the matte shades, it made them a lot more pigmented than they already were. I'm especially impressed by how deeper the shade Freshly Toasted came out.

Overall, I definitely recommend picking this up, I would even go to say that it gives Urban Decay a run for its money!

You can pick up the primer here for £5.99 from the Milani website, and you get free delivery on orders over £20!

Hello!

Today I have a dupes post for you. This is a dupe from Makeup Revolution for the Urban Decay Naked palette.

The Makeup Revolution Palette Iconic 1 costs only £4 from TAM Beauty.
The Urban Decay Naked Paltte costs £38.50 from Urban Decay.

Visually, the two palette are incredibly similar, even the order of the shades.

I swatched each palette side by side to see just how similar they are. On the left is Urban Decay and the right is Makeup Revolution.
The lighter shades in the Iconic 1 palette were quite hard to swatch, and I had to put a couple of layers on to get it to show up properly. The matte shades in the palette are also not that good, as and are not pigmented, especially the dupe for the shade Naked.

Here I have swatches to show you each shade name from the Naked Palette and on the right is the Makeup Revolution shades that don't have names.

Overall, I think this Makeup Revolution Palette is a really good dupe for the Naked Palette. The quality on the matte shades isn't quite as good, but obviously with a £34 price difference that's going to be the case haha. If you're unsure about getting the Naked Palette, I'd definitely say try the Makeup Revolution one first and see if you use it a lot, and then invest your money! They also have dupes for the Naked 2 and Naked 3 Palettes too, so it's definitely worth having a look!

Let me know if you try this out and what you think of it!

Hey there! Today I've got a maroon eye look, perfect for the Autumn! Autumn/Winter is my favourite time of year and I'm so excited to come up with more deep eye looks as that's what I enjoy doing. This whole look is using the Sleek Vintage Romance palette.

I first used Propose In Prague in my crease and slightly upwards. This shade confused me a little as it looks like a dark mustard but then it came out with a bit of red? Who knows?

I deepened it up with A Vow In Venice.

All over the lid I used Honeymoon in Hollywood, which was the whole reason I bought this palette because I just fell in love with this shade.

I put a tiny bit of Marry In Mote Carlo over the top of that, just a thin layer though.

Finally, I used Love In London in the outer corner and up the wing a bit.

And I added a wing before peeling the tape off.

I used Bliss In Barcelona to create a bit of a contrast, but I didn't want a complete clash of colours with this.

I then added my fave Ardell Demi Wispies and mascara.

On my lips I used a brown eyeliner and then a 99p matte lipstick off eBay. Literally type in "liquid lipstick" and they will come up in many colours. This is the shade 33.

Hello!

Today I have a post showing and reviewing the new limited edition Sleek Goodnight Sweetheart Palette. The other day while I was doing some internet window shopping, I saw this palette on Sleek's website and I thought it looked really nice! When I was in Boots the other day, I saw it and it looked even nicer in person so I thought I would pick it up. I'm just going to show you some swatches and my opinion of the palette, but I'm sure I'll be coming up with some looks with it too!

The palette comes in Sleek's usual black plastic casing.

It has 12 shades, and also comes with a mirror.

Over the top of the eyeshadows is a clear plastic sheet with the names of the shades on.

The theme for this shade is very purpley/plum which is my favourite!

(Oh hey new tattoo)
On the top row goes (L-R)

Seduction
Velvet Wrap
Romance
Lingerie
Dusk
Love

I'm really excited to use Seduction because I don't have a silver shade like this! And I think Romance will make a really good crease shade. I'm really impressed with the pigment of all of these shadows, especially the metallic ones.

The bottom row (L-R)

By The Fireside
Hold Me Tight
Sweet Dreams
Love Is In The Air
Snuggle
Sleeping Beauty

We need to talk about Snuggle because this swatch does not do it justice. It's got a lovely duochrome, and reminds me of Urban Decay Solstice. The difference is that Solstice is more of a glitter shadow whereas Snuggle is more of an eyeshadow, does that make sense?
I also think Sleeping Beauty will make a really nice, simple look with Seduction.

Overall, I really like this palette, it's definitely in my favourite colour range. I'm also really impressed with the pigmentation, and for £8.99 you can't really complain! The Goodnight Sweetheart range also has 3 lipsticks which are worth checking out, but hurry as they are limited edition!
