Hello!

I did a bit of a Nyx order the other day and I thought I would share with you the things that I bought. I love Nyx so so much, and if you haven't tried them already, then you definitely should because the are amazing and cruelty free!! You can check them out of the Boots website or instore at Boots.

First of all I have the Nyx Wonder Stick. This is replacing the L'Oreal Sculpt contour kit I had because they test on animals, and I have now gone completely cruelty free! (I will be posting about this soon).

I bought the shade Light/medium because I am very pale.

In the box, the stick came wrapped in a foam type material, which I thought was nice because it keeps it a bit more protected if you drop the box or something.

One side of the Wonder Stick is the highlight shade and one side is the contour.

I'm really pleased with the shades of this because I always worry that the contour shade will be too dark, but I think this one is gonna be just right!

Next I have a Primal Colours Eyeshadow in the shade Hot Red. I don't have a decent red shade, so I thought I would try this out as I have some ideas for it!

This is just after one swipe. It's not as pigmented as I hoped it would be, but it's definitely buildable, as you can see in the next image.

It also stained my finger! I came off with a wipe, but didn't just rub off like most shadows do after swatching.

Next I have a Lid Lingerie eye tint in Evening Spell. I fell in love with this colour as soon as I saw it, and I like the Lip Lingerie so I thought I would try the eye ones.

The applicator is just like a doe foot one that you would find in a liquid lipstick.

The colour of this is just stunning, and I think it will make a great all over lid shade, it's just beautiful.

I decided to branch out from my favourite Liquid Suede lipsticks from Nyx and try a Velvet Matte Lipstick.

It's just a regular matte tube lipstick. The packaging is so smooth and velvet-y feeling which adds to the effect of the name.

I got the shade Charmed, because I thought it looked like a very 90s shade, and I wasn't disappointed!

I can't wait to use this in some grunge looks, I've been after a lipstick like this for soooo long I'm really happy to have finally found one!

Last but not least, I bought some GLITTERS. I love glitter. So much. And now it's Christmas I wanted to do some makeup looks with glitter!

I got the shades Rose and Ice. I want the Ice shade for some Christmas looks I am planning, and I got the Rose shade because I am weak and fell for it's stunning colour.

The glitters have a little filter on the top so that when you open them they don't go everywhere when you open them, what a disaster that would be haha.

Hello!

Today I am sharing the Freedom Pro Lipstick Kit in Vamp Collection. I bought this because it is only £5 and you get 5 lipsticks, which means it's only £1 a lipstick!

This is the first thing I've bought from Freedom, even though they're under the same company TAM which also owns my fave Makeup Revolution.

These are just normal lipsticks, and it's been a while since I bought any normal ones as I'm still obsessed with liquid lipstick to be honest. I've swatched all of these on my hand, and then I've done individual swatches on my lips, although they're a bit messy because I did them before I was about to go out haha.

Left to Right:

Vamp Noir

Dark Paradise

Pure Vamp

Intense Noir

Dusk Till Dawn

This first shade is Vamp Noir, and it's a really nice dark red, which is my favourite tone of red lipstick.

Then we have Dark Paradise, and I am in love!! I have a thing for purple lipsticks at the moment and it's nice to have an alternative to all of my matte ones.

Then we have Pure Vamp, which is quite a weird red shade to me, I thought it would be a much brighter red from the packaging, but it's not quite as bright as I expected it to be.

Then we have Intense Noir, which is another purple shade, but darker than Dark Paradise. I'm tempted to mix the two together and see how it looks.

Finally, we have Dusk Til Dawn, which is a dark pink shade. I'm not a fan of intense pinks because they don't look so good with my hair, but I know for sure a lot of people like pinks.

Overall, I think this kit is good because of the price, and the quality of these lipsticks is amazing for £1 each. However, I'm not sure that I would wear all of the shades. I know Freedom do another kit like this but with nude eyeshadows, so I might check that out as I would probably use those more.

Hey there!

Today I am bringing you this gradient look. I had the inspiration while on holiday, when I noticed how nicely yellow and purple go together, and of course, I couldn't wait to try it out! I'm quite pleased with how it came out, and I was very excited to share it with you. I haven't posted in a while because I've been so busy with work and uni, but I'm getting back on track now!

I hope you enjoy this look as much as I do!

Firstly, I put the yellow shade from the W7 Neon Nights Palette along my crease.

In my inner corner, I used Butterscotch Caramel by Nyx, and packed the colour on to make sure it was really intense.

In my outer corner, I used Beverly by Colourpop, and buffed it in, continuing it along the outer half of my crease too.

Ontop of Beverly in the outer corner, I used Passionate Purple loose pigment by Elf. I left a gap in the middle of my eyelid for the next shade.

I put Fantasy by Colourpop in the centre. Here it looks very striped, but don't worry, blending is our best friend today!

Firstly, I put more Beverly in my crease to blend the colours in at the top.

Then I took a soft fluffy brush and continuously blended across the 3 shades, adding more when I deemed necessary. This took a while, but it was worth it!

After adding my wing, I put some of the Elf pigment in the outer half of my lower lashline.

Then I put Butterscotch Caramel in the inner half and blended the two in the middle.

I added a small amount of eyeliner on my waterline, but I didn't want an intense liner going on as I thought it would take too much away from the purple and yellow.

I added my Nyx Doll Eye mascara, and the Sultry eyelashes from Primark and I was done! I definitely recommend checking out Primark's lashes, they're just as good as Ardell, but for only £1, which is a fraction of the price!

On my lips I first used Nyx Foul Mouth and then topped it with Sephora lipstick in no 26. I actually ended up taking it off and redoing it because this application is awful haha.

I hope you enjoy this post, and that it shows you that colours can go together even if you think they won't! Blending is just key to make sure they look gradiented. I have plenty of ideas again after this dry patch so be sure to keep an eye out for more regular posts now!

Hello!

The other day I bought a new yellow under eye corrector because I found out Benefit test on animals! Which means I chucked out my Lemonaid (I had none left anyway haha). I was looking for another corrector that was going to last me a while. Ones like the Urban Decay corrector made me think that I would get through it super fast seeing as I use it every day, and the Lemonaid lasted me about 6 months and I wanted something similar. I saw this in Boots and figured "why not?". I've never used Soap and Glory makeup before (only the hand cream) and I though this would be a great way to get into their products.

This is my under eye normally, bog standard no makeup.

The Kick Ass is a stick form and feels very smooth in consistency. It is 5.5g and retails for £8, which is half the price of Lemonaid which is £16 for 2.70g. Not a bad difference! Although the Benefit one is technically a colour correcting eyelid primer, I only ever used it as a colour corrector.

It's a pale shade of yellow, and is very creamy application.

I drew a triangle with the stick under my eye, and filled it in like I do with my regular concealer. It was really easy to apply with the stick because it's literally just drawing it on your face.

It's also incredibly easy to blend, I just used a medium sized beauty blender from Primark. And I definitely think you can see the difference! I applied it to the left side of my face (it looks like the right in the photo haha) and it definitely makes my skin look dark circle-less! And it also does a fab job at covering the redness in my face too, much better than a green corrector (I've tried one before and it didn't work as well as I hoped). But that's just my face, and I can't guarantee that a yellow corrector will work for everyone's redness!

Applying my foundation over the corrector was super easy too, and it was still just as blendable as normal, and I definitely noticed that you couldn't see any darkness, possibly making this better coverage than Lemonaid too!
