Well, it seems to be official. I am hooked on Soap and Glory.
I went in to boots to potentially look for a standard lip gloss. I've been getting a bit fed up of matte lip, shocking, I know. But I couldn't find any I liked, they all just seem so sticky! But I did see this Lip Plumper from Soap and Glory, and I thought it would be quite good to try!
The big lip trend seems to be carrying on into 2017, and while I would never have surgery, I thought this would be a bit of fun, and a bonus if it works!

Apparently the lip gloss works almost immediately, and will start to tingle.

I got the shade clear, I think this is the only colour they do in this?

The packaging is silver. The applicator is just a hoof shape and is plastic, making it very easy to apply. I also apologise for the other swatch on my hand, it's Corset by Nyx if you're interested.

So here are my lips before. They look awful, I know.
When I put the lip gloss on, it didn't do anything at first, and I thought I had done something wrong. But then all of a sudden it started to tingle, and it was actually quite weird. After about 10 minutes, it then changed slightly, and it just felt like really annoying pins and needles.

This was after about 20 minutes. You can definitely see on my bottom lip that it has almost "swelled" a bit. My top lip has also done the same. I am actually surprised that this worked, I'm not going to lie! But I am happy that I didn't waste my money haha. I also noticed that this is very moisturising, which is another bonus.
If you're interested in trying this for yourself, you can pick it up for £10 from Boots http://www.boots.com/en/Soap-Glory%E2%84%A2-Sexy-Mother-Pucker%E2%84%A2-XL-Lip-Plumping-Gloss_1450222/

Thanks for reading, and I'll see you in the next one!

Hello!
Today I have a very exciting post about these Makeup Revolution Matte Lip Kits!
I saw that Sophdoesnails did a video on these and in my head I was like "!!!". Obviously, these are a dupe for Kylie Jenner's lip kits, and obviously I don't have the money for such things... So I can't actually compare these to the Kylie ones, but I thought I would give my opinions on them.
I picked up 3 shades, 2 nudes and a dark green. There are other colours, but these are the ones that appealed to me the most. The packaging is also really cute, the boxes are black and gold, and the lids on the lipsticks are also gold. They retail for £6 each, which is MUCH cheaper than the Kylie ones and they come with both a lip liner and liquid lipstick.

You can get them from TAM Beauty. In the video I saw, Sophie also swatched a metallic one, so I'm looking forward to those being released and possibly write a post on them too.

The first shade I have is Echelon.
This is a really nice nude shade, I've seen a few people say that it is a brown-nude, but to me it seems more pink?

I have swatched just the liner, then the lipstick and then just an all over shot, so you can see how well they match/what they look like with a face of makeup.

This shade reminds me somewhat of Birthday Suit by Sleek, I personally don't think it is anything "special" in terms of colour. The lip liner is very creamy, and applies so well. As for the liquid lipstick, it is just a standard in my opinion, it's not patchy and applied well/pigmented.

Next up is Noble. I wasn't sure on this when I ordered it, but I LOVE it! To me this is almost a terracotta? I ended up keeping this on all day after the swatches because it is just such a lovely colour, I feel it suited me well and it's different to anything else I own.

Again, the liner was suuuper creamy, and the lipstick applied really well too. It matches my lower lash line colour! (Realgar from the ABH Modern Renaissance palette).

Finally, we have Magnificent. This was the one I was most excited for, but most disappointed by. But maybe that was because I was so excited for it?
It's a really dark green shade, which I don't own, and I LOVE dark lip colours.

I think the usual dark colour thing happened with this, where it has just come out patchy. I think it could be buildable, but it's usually a losing battle with dark colours. I saw a video where someone swatched the colour Royal in this range, and it was even patchier than this!

And as I went to do my hand swatches, the lip pencil snapped! I'm hoping you can sharpen them because there is no winder at the bottom.

But yes, the hand swatches. L-R Noble, Echelon, Magnificent.
Noble is definitely the closest match of lipstick and liner, I found especially on my lips. Echelon is definitely different on the hand, but I didn't notice much of a difference on the lips. Magnificent, well. I tried to build up the lipstick for the swatch, and it just caked. The liner is only one layer, like the other two, and as you can see, the pigmentation isn't that great.

Overall, from my experience with these and videos I have seen, the more nude shades are amazing, but the darker shades might be a pass. I think that the value for money is great, especially compared to Kylie's Lip Kits, which retail for $29 each, and then you have to factor in shipping and customs. If you can get your hands on these, definitely give Noble a try, it's one of my new faves!

Hello hello hello!

I am so excited, because today is the day where I show you what I got from the Lush Valentine's day collection! (Hint, almost everything).

First of all is the Ladybird Bubble Bar. How cute is she? I watched a video where someone used this with the Rose Bombshell Bath Bomb, so I might try that...

I fiiiinally got my hands on a Roller Bath Bomb! I swear, these sell out in like seconds when they come on the Lush Kitchen. So when I saw that they were selling it online as part of the Valentine's day range, I had to snap it up... Since using Never Mind The Ballistics, I am loving the half melt half bath bomb thing, it makes your skin feel lovely!

Next up is Cupid. This bath bomb is actually pretty small, but I guess that is reflected in the price also.

Lover Lamp is one that I am eager to try because of the Cocoa Butter and Vanilla Absolute in there, but when I melt it I was kind of disappointed? I love the little hearts in there though.

Next is Two Hearts Beating As One. This is a Luxury Bath Oil, so it's a bit more than the standard £2 ones, BUT you can get 2 baths with this I reckon due to it pulling apart. I mix my oils in cocktails anyway so I will definitely get 2 baths from this.

This is the Love You, Love You Lots Soap. This has Rose Petal Infusion in there so it smells lovely! I'm a sucker for rose smells....

This Kiss Me Quick Wash Card was sold out online! But I went to a store near my uni, and they had loads in stock, so I picked one up. The lady who served me said that it lathers up really well. I'm interested to see how it works because I've never used a wash card before!

Bein the sucker I am for massage bars, I got the Love Spell bar. I reckon the little hearts that stick ot will feel really nice, like the balls on the hottie massage bar.

I think this is so cute! It looks like an emoji haha! This is the Lovestruck Bubble Bar. I'm not sure on the smell, it has lemon oil in there, but i'm not sure I can smell it? I have been ill recently though, so maybe I should smell it when I am 100% better.

Next is one of my faaaave bath bombs! Okay, so Rose Bombshell was one of the first bath bombs I bought from Lush, when it was in the old style of the white ballistic, I'm pretty sure I still have one of those haha! But I always get some because I think it smells so gorgeous. I'm going to pick up a couple more, and I plan to mix them with the Ladybird Bubble Bar and Rose Jam Bubble Bar.

I already tried Over and Over before my package came! I smelt it in store and fell in love, it's got a very citrus smell, and like I said before, I love the half melt half bath bombs. For this second one I have, I might buy a Brightside Bubble Bar and mix it with that.

Of course, I got two Unicorn Horn Bubble Bars. I LOVE unicorns, so why wouldn't I????

Last but not least, I got the Prince Charming Shower Cream. I took a bit of a gamble on this and bought the 250g. I kinda wish I'd got the 100g to be honest... Because of the marshmallow and vanilla, I thought I was going to love this, much like Snow Fairy, but I'm not sure, there's something in it that I'm not keen on, but I can't quite put my finger on it...

You can check out the range on Lush's website here! But remember they are exclusive to Valentine's day, so be quick!
