Hello!

You may have guessed if you've read my blog before, that I am a big fan of NYX. Not only are they affordable, but they are also cruelty free. And now they are becoming more and more accessible in the UK via Boots, which is perfect!

I wanted to talk today about the Liquid Suede Lipsticks because I love them. So far I have 3 shades, Cherry Skies, Stone Fox and Vintage, but I am hoping to get Sandstorm, Soft Spoken and Kitten Heels soon, and then I will probably just get the other shades as and when.

They retail for £6.50, which I don't think is too bad for a liquid lipstick if I'm honest!

First off is Cherry Skies. This is a really nice deep red . As we are edging into Autumn ever so slowly now, I wanted more Autumunal lip shades, and I think this is going to look perfect with a cody jumper and beanie hat.

Next up is the shade Vintage. I adore this. I think it suits me quite well, and I love that it is a more muted purple tone. Again, I bought this for Autumn, but I have been wearing this already and it is just amazing.

(This swatch is after having it on all day. I only had to reapply once, but that was after I'd been to a picnic and I'd eaten yogurt and eclairs and all sorts)

Lat but not least, we have Stone Fox. This was the first Liquid Suede that I bought, and I love it. I'm a huge fan of dark colours, and I thought this was quite unusual, although I do get the comments of "are you dead?" blah blah blah. I also enjoy mixing this with Marshmallow by Colourpop as I think it make a nice mid tone grey as well.

(By far the worst swatch, I was tired by this point, but you get the gist)

The wand on these is actually pretty cool, instead of being a doe foot, it is just long and flat. It can be hard to apply, you've just got to find the right angle.

I think these are amazing quality for the price, and the range of colours is fab. I would recommend these over the Soft Matte Lip Cream because I feel the Liquid Suede ones have a better colour pay off, for just £1 more.

Hey there!

Today I am going to share with you my top five favourite highlighters. I LOVE highlighting, and I will happily go out of my house looking like an orb and not care. All of these highlighters are drugstore, because hey, the way I get through highlighters, I'm not gonna pay £40 for it to last me a month haha! I will provide links to each one in case you are interested!

I hope you enjoy :)

First off is my number one, MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighter in Iridescent Gold. This is the highlighter that I use in my everyday kind of looks. It's only £3 and is very good for the price point! I literally glow when I wear this, and it's actually last me quite a long time (I was being sarcastic when I said highlighters only last me a month, in case you didn't pick that up). MUA in general, like Makeup Revolution, are an amazing affordable brand who actually produce good quality makeup.

My second favourite is Hemisphere from the Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette. At first, I thought that lilac wouldn't make a great shade on me, but I love it! If I'm going for a super pale look, I will use this, or if I want a bit more of an unusual look too. This whole palette in general is well worth picking up, but Hemisphere is my favourite of all of them.

Thirdly is Feeling Younger from Lush. I only have a sample of this, as I wanted to try it, and because you don't need that much at a time, the sample has lasted me aaaaages. This is a lovely cream highlight that stays on all day. It has slight pearl/peachy kind of glow? I'm not good at describing things when I can't quite make it out. But I have also tried this in with my foundation and it gave me a nice subtle glow. I have also read that you can use it to conceal under your eyes, so I'm definitely going to give that a go!

At number four, we have Stole The Show by Kygo. Just kidding, it's from Colourpop. This feels so nice when you swatch it, it's incredibly creamy and just glides on so well. It is a gold, but also has small flecks of pink in there too, which you can see when you turn it in the sunlight. It lasts all day, and if I'm feeling a bit of an extra glow, I will put this on first, and then the MUA highlighter on top. Perfect.

Finally, my number 5 isn't technically a highlighter, it's an eye shadow. And it costs something daft like £1.99. But it works so well as a highlighter!! It's called Candy Floss, and it's from Natural Collection in Boots. It's a lovely pink shade, which obviously is more pigmented when swatched. But on my highlighting brush, it is so subtle when applied to the cheeks etc, and it is stunning. And I'm all for multi purpose makeup, because it does make an awesome eyeshadow too!

Hello! Today I have a look that was inspired by something I saw on Pinterest (I'll leave the link here). I fell in love with the look, and I wanted to give it a try for myself. The difference with my look is that I didn't use an orange tone as my transition because I wanted this to be a pure purple look.

First of all, I used Break Me Up from the Makeup Revolution Death By Chocolate palette in my crease and brought it quite high up. I just ordered the Vice palette in this range, so keep your eyes out for a post on that, and I'm super excited because the packaging is black!!!

Then I took Kiko Infinity Clics in 246 and smudged this along my crease too, slightly lower than the first colour.

Then I used Devour me from the palette and just blended all of the colours together, making sure everything mixed really well.

I took Passionate Purple which is a loose pigment from ELF, and I packed this all over my eyelid.

I kep packing and blending out with more of the shade Devour me until I got where I wanted to.

Then I took Urban Decay Moondust in Solstice on a wet brush and I packed this on top, taking my time to make sure every part of my lid was covered. I absolutely love the diversity of this eyeshadow, it changes when it's ontop of different colours, but is also beautiful in its own right, I definitely recommend it!

Then I put eyeliner in my waterline, and took more of that ELF pigment and ran it along my lower lash line.

Then I added mascara and falsies and I was done!

On my lips I used Makeup Revolution Velvet Black Heart.
