Hello!

Today I have a look using my Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette!
I am literally at a loss about how many looks I can do with this palette, but I think this is a good start! It's a lot darker than the previous looks I have done for Blogmas so far, and I'm loving it!

I primed with my Milani eyeshadow primer, and then set it with Tempera, the first shade in the palette.

Then I took Warm Taupe and put it in my crease, and up towards my brow bone.

In just my crease line, I put a mix of Raw Sienna and Golden Ochre.

Then I took Cyprus Umber in my crease, and dragged it out into a slight wing along the tape line.

I then blended it out so it was a softer line.

I first put Burnt Orange all over my lid, but I decided it wasn't strong enough.

So then I put Realgar over the top of it.

I then put Primavera just in the centre of my lid to create a slight glow there.

On my lower lash line I put Realgar halfway across.

And then I darkened it with Cyprus Umber.

On my lips I used Cherry Skies by Nyx.

I then decided that I wanted a bit of metallic, so I put Nyx Lid lingerie in Evening Spell, and it worked quite well!

I hope you liked this post!

Hello!

I thought today that I would share my tree decorating with you!
I got all of my stuff, including the tree, from Wilkinson's. Everything Christmas is super cheap there! I went with a red, white and silver theme. Gold seems super popular this year, but I don't know, I just don't think it is as "traditional" as red, but that's just my opinion haha.

Also please forgive me for the photos, I'm still trying to get used to my flash gun, but I'm learning!

The tree I got was this 3ft pre lit one. It was originally marked as £8 but my dad noticed that it scanned as only £5! It's currently sold out on the website, but I'll link it anyway just in case.

I got red tinsel to try and fill out the tree a bit, and it was only £1! (As opposed to a £10 (?!?!) one I found on Paperchase).

And I also got a red bead chain cause I just thought it was cute haha.

I got 2 boxes of baubles, one of small baubles and one of big baubles. And they both came in super sweet tree shaped boxes. The small baubles were just red and white. I originally got them to fill out the top of the tree, but there was more in the box than I thought so I just put them all over haha.

I also got a few single baubles, two of each so they were even haha

I got a silver star, but I had to fold over the top of my tree cause it toppled real bad haha.

I also got this "Merry Christmas" sign. It's actually a wall hanging, but I thought it would look nice hanging on my tree.

Wonky wonky haha.

Overall, I don't think I did a terrible job, especially considering that I've never decorated a tree on my own before haha. Maybe I'll do better next year :P

Okay.
Everyone calm down!!
It's back!!!!!!
I am so super excited to bring you this post on the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette!!!

Okay so, I wanted this in the summer when it first came out, and I faffed about and ended up missing out and I was so gutted. But while I was scrolling through Facebook the other day, I saw a post from Beauty Bay that it was back and I was like !!!! I didn't even think about it, it was just straight in my basket haha.
Now, I know Beauty Bay is a bit controversial right now. I have been buying off Beauty Bay for about a year now, and I've never had an issue. Until now. I was supposed to have next day delivery, but it didn't come next day, it came the day after. I couldn't load an tracking info and when it came, there was a crack in the first shade, and powder all over the palette. When reading through Twitter, I saw some people have waited over 2 weeks for orders, are receiving the wrong orders or broken items, which is a shame because Beauty Bay have always seemed so good until now. Their customer service isn't great, my tweets were replied to with the same answer to DM them, but when I did, they didn't reply, and my email also went without a reply too. I really want to order some more Jeffree Star Lipsticks, but I don't know if I want to risk it now! I will have to see haha.

But for now, lets get into looking at this beautiful palette!

To start, the packaging of this is just beautiful. The palette is a really soft feeling pink, much like the feel of the Naked palette. However, because it is so light, I think it might just get a bit dirty!

Inside, there is a cover over the mirror, and a plastic cover on the shadows. It also has a double ended brush.

(this is the broken shade boo)

The brush is really small, and I used it just to test, and it's not that great, it just smushes the eyeshadow into powder...

Just look at the colours!!
This palette is legit just made for me, I LOVE these shades and I think I melted a bit when I swatched them. I have swatched each row and then I swatched both of them together, just so you can get an idea of the whole palette together!
The shadows are so pigmented and so soft and buttery, I just love them! And you get 14 of them which is just amazing.

Top Row
Left to Right:

Tempera
Golden Ochre
Vermeer
Buon Fresco
Antique Bronze
Love Letter
Cyprus Umber

Firstly: look at the pigment! It's so good it covers my tattoo, what is this?? I'm super excited to try out Vermeer and Love Letter, I'm just dying over these. I also think Buon Fresco is gonna be a great transition shade, along with Golden Ochre too.

Bottom Row
Left to Right:

Raw Sienna
Burnt Orange
Primavera
Red Ochre
Venetian Red
Warm Taupe
Realgar

You all know I love orange shades, I'm in LOVE with Burnt Orange and Realgar, I just can't wait to play with this palette! I also love Primavera, just look at it!!! Venetian Red actually surprised me, I thought it was a lot like Love Letter, but Love Letter is matte, whereas Venetian Red is a slight shimmer!

So here is the whole palette swatched together, and you know that there's gonna be some looks going up on here using this palette! I'm so excited to try it out, I seriously don't know where to start haha.

I think Beauty Bay are going to get this back in again soon, but it is totally up to you if you want to order from them with the problems they're having!
Keep an eye out for some posts using this palette, I'm sure there will be more than one!

Thanks for reading

Hey there and welcome to day eleven!

I'm feeling super inspired with my makeup recently, I think it's just all the festivities giving me ideas!
Today I'm doing this rose gold look using the Makeup Revolution Foiled Shadow in Rose Gold. I tried to use this when I first bought it and it just didn't work for me, it clumped on my lid and it was just a mess. But I decided to give it another go, and I'm actually impressed! I know that it always sells out, but if you can get your hands on it, it's such a pretty shade, and worth learning how to use!

Firstly I primed and set with White Light from the I heart Makeup Death By Chocolate palette. Then from the same palette, I put Lick Me very lightly in my crease.

Then I took Sidecar from the urban Decay naked Palette and ran this through just so I had some shimmer.

Then I decided I actually wanted some more depth, so I put Beans Are White form the Zoeva Cocoa Blends palette right through my crease line. I also popped a bit more of that Sidecar shade across my lid.

Then the fun part! I put Rose Gold Foiled Eyeshadow from Makeup Revolution all over my lid!

I ran a bit of the Beans Are White shade on my lower lash line, but only very lightly.

And there we are!

On my lips, I used my new absolute favourite, Pink In Excess from PS Pro (yes, Primark). I've had so many compliments about this lipstick and I'm just like "lol go to Primark" I love it!

I have quite a few more makeup ideas, including an anti-Christmas look! So stay tuned for more!!
